P.S: Does Blackberry Messenger have to use internet or is it with the text messages?
The different types of IM should come in the service packs that are sent to your by your cell phone provider. Like in the sprint pack you have AIM, AOL, and Black berry messenger.
Black berry messenger should be going via internet communicating with other BB via the pin. I say this because the device radio has to be on for BB messenger to function properly. Which the device radio affects your internet as well.
Blackberry messenger uses your Internet that you have from your Internet tarrif- you can only message people with a Blackberry phone =)
I have one
