How to connect Microphone to Guitar Hero World Tour?

You have to have a third WII remote connected to the unit for the Microphone to work.
Just took our GH World Tour out of the box and had the same problem. Instructions had no information about the microphone. It was obvious I had to plug it into the USB port but after that I was stumped.
Did a bit of troubleshooting and YES you must have a separate wii remote for EACH instrument and this includes the microphone.
So if you want to play 2 guitars, the drums and the microphone at the same time– you must have a wii remote for EACH instrument.
I am surprised that at the handful of retaliers that I visited before I found GH that not one of them mentioned that I needed to purchase additional wii remotes.
