what’s the difference between hon-mirin and mirin?
also, where can i get one of those pans?! i love the functionality of it- definitely makes it easier to slide the topping for donburi dishes.
I’ve just got round to trying this recipe tonight. A+ OISHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
all of your videos make me hungry @__@
I notice that the portions are smaller than what we get here in the U.S. I think that’s great. Also I notice that her cooking pots and pans are very modest. You don’t need All-Clad or Le Cruset to make great meals.
my husband love Japanese food and I learn a lot from you. ARIGATO!
That looks oh so good…you make my mouth water…looked totally delicious.

really great cooking demonstration with cute but useless dog as host. The narrator’s voice though is captivating in a funny way.
I love you Francis, but I think you should help out in the kitchen a little more.
you think if I go to a Chinese market looking for some of these ingredients that they may have them? So far as I know we don’t have any real Japanese stores around me, but there are a few China-marts.

hi, I think your bf means a chinese dish 麻婆豆腐 which is called “mahboh-doufu” in Japanese. Ground meat and Tofu sauteed in spicy sauce. Japanese people loves it, so do I. “Good luck in the kitchen”
Most definitely making this for breakfast Christmas Morning. Then everyone can be jealous while they eat some mediocre breakfast. HA HA.
No “good luck in the kitchen” wish?
Even without that, this was still a good video. Thanks for sharing it with us!
