   You need to start a new game. Then follow the onscreen instructions. We were initially confused until learning that the only things that transfer are the character hair/face and the items available from Nook’s. Your house, items, bells, etc do not transfer.

   At the start of the game, when you get to the options from one of your furry buds, keep going until the person asks who you are, then say im new, then select ds case,be sure have your ds person ready then there you have it.
