Well you’re obviously an in-experienced rider. The power band is basically a “turbo” at high RPMs to give the bike its power it’s really suppose to have. For instances, you wouldn’t ride the track at 5k RPM because you’d have no acceleration. You’d want to stay somewhere between 10-14k RPM(powerband) so your bike has some “umph” to power through a corner or pass someone.
Yeah, if you’ve got a 600. You need to be within the powerband for 1st gear, and pull it up. You can also try bouncing it up a little bit.Works perfectly.
Anybody else having trouble with a 600cc? The roll on just isn’t working with my R6… I have the throttle wide open and it feels like the front is too heavy. Any suggestions?
and just 1 second after u accelerated u pull the clutch and let it go from about 2000-3000UPM to let’s say about 6000-7000 then let the clutch go. if that won’t get the front wheel up far enuff up go for 8000 or more UPM. U have to start easy!! There is alot Power in both of ur Bikes, so take care. Anyways, important is also how u sit/stand on the Bike while doing it. The best way is prolly to sit relaxed and let the Bike “move your Body” to the right Position. Well good luck to both of u^^
i cant speak from my own experience, cuz im pretty bad at pulling Wheelies . Check my videos then u will see lol. Im wondering u saying there isnt enuff power on your bikes to do it, but if im not mistaken they both got plenty over 100hp+++ Also ur bikes are not as heavy as an Bandit or an Fazer for Example. U should try it at a private place, means not on the Streets. Then u should try to roll with about 15-25 km/h or about 10-16 miles/h THEN accelerate
Ive been practicing wheelies on a CBR1000RR fireblade 06 for sometime now slipping the clutch in 2nd. The front wheel lifts well and high but the bike does not have the power to hold the wheel up even when I roll on the power once its up. On the other hand I decided to try slipping the clutch in 1st. The front comes up violent but the bike has the power to ride it out for a good long distance. If you have any experience with the bike or suggestions please post what is good or am I doing wrong?
First section was good, well explained. Second however was not so great. He keeps saying to “slip the clutch” without actually explaining what this means. Overall worth a watch tho.
best vid on youtube, well done

Does anyone know the song used in this vid?
Great work – breaks it down very well.
what’s the powerband?……..
that ”mat rampit” really sucks. he is abject. best stunters comes from finland. few to see search ‘SFT trailer’, ‘Lahden kesä 2006′ or ‘khukkis’
come to malaysia and see how they wheelie their motorcycle just using U-125cc motorcycle
if u want watch it just type ‘Mat Rempit’
i wish, i had an old bike to practice on.

slipping the clutch is when you just acclerate and pop the clutch
what it basically means is to completely let off the clutch at once. Don’t ease off it just let it go.
I tried that, but my front never comes up. It feels VERY heavy and just feel like theres not enough power to get the front up.
I have a 2000 R6, but it might have a weak clutch or something.
is this guy doin the clutch wheelies in first gear. when learning how to clutch wheelie is it better to do them in second.
This is just what the world needs.
you cant power wheelie in higher gears.
Isnt it better for the bike to just power wheelie in higher gears, rather than slipping the clutch?

No it was just funny, I realized you wrote fast and the gay furious. All I read was fast and the furious.
